White and Anthracite Island Kitchen
A bright kitchen pairing white handleless units with anthracite wall cabinets, plus a sink island with a dark marble-look top.
The brief
In a large, light-filled kitchen the sink was to sit in a freestanding island, with storage up to the ceiling along the walls. A lit display column for glassware was also part of the plan.
What we did
White handleless base and tall units are paired with anthracite wall cabinets and a white marble-look splashback around the U. The freestanding white island has a dark marble-look top with an inset black sink, under five black cylinder pendants on a ceiling track. A white tall unit holds the built-in oven and microwave, and behind a black-framed smoked-glass door there is a lit display column with glass shelves.
