Kitchen with a Fluted Island
An L-shaped kitchen on Güllük Caddesi with a fluted-panel island, woodgrain wall cabinets and a concealed LED ceiling cove.
The brief
The plan called for a freestanding island to add worktop space and soft, indirect light for the evenings. The built-in oven, fridge and dishwasher had to sit in one orderly working run.
What we did
Light woodgrain wall cabinets with LED lines underneath sit above handleless cashmere-greige base units. The island is clad in vertical fluted greige panels and topped with a thick white marble-look slab with gold-grey veining. A concealed LED cove in the ceiling adds indirect light; the black built-in oven sits in a tall unit and the gas hob under an angled black glass hood.
