Apartment Renovation with a Brick-Slip Kitchen
From bare walls to move-in ready: a flat with a walnut-look kitchen, a brick-slip splashback, a dark-toned bathroom, a wardrobe and a TV wall.
The brief
A flat with stripped walls, peeling paint and exposed pipes had to be made ready to live in. The kitchen corner was to be warm and full of character, with plenty of storage in the rooms.
What we did
The kitchen corner was rebuilt with walnut-look base units with round knobs, white wall cabinets, a brick-slip splashback with warm LED and a white stone-look worktop with a peninsula, next to a lit black-framed glass display cabinet. The bathroom has dark blue-grey tiles, a black vessel basin on a floating wood-look vanity, a round mirror and a fluted panel. Elsewhere there is a greige wardrobe with an open niche, a vertical slat divider and a TV wall with oak-look shelves and a vertical LED strip.
